Even if you have never surfed before you can join in on some great classes that are available! The grassy green picnic grounds that line the foreshore are perfect for lazing in through the afternoon or maybe even kicking a football around with friends while you enjoy a BBQ. The surrounding suburbs that are all really close such as Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach and even beautiful Coolangatta can hold many other attractions for you to enjoy.
The Gold Coast Hinterland which is just a short drive away is where you can embark on a horse riding adventure, do some abseiling, go hang gliding, mountain biking, bush walking or hiking through the thick lush vegetation of the rainforests and get up close and personal with an amazing array of flora and fauna. There are whale watching tours that depart every day during the whale watching season, but if you just can’t get enough of the water you might like to try a fishing charter or diving adventure for the day.
